Each athlete joins a team that trains once a week and competes once a week, all under one roof at Volleybox Sports Centre.
We offer girls leagues beginning in grade 5.
Volleyball for every player, every skill level, every story.

Divisions
We offer three divisions for girl athletes to join. If your child would like to play in a higher division, please email hello@volleybox.ca. Our coaches will review their evaluation to see if it’s the right fit.

Practice Location & Schedule
All practices take place at Volleybox Sports Centre.
Girls Teams
Each team practices once a week
on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
at one of thefollowing times:
5:00–6:30 PM, 6:30–8:00 PM, or 8:00–9:30 PM.
During registration, you’ll be asked to select your two preferred days out of the three available. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences, but final placements depend on both availability and team balance to ensure fair, competitive play for everyone.
League Game
Location & Schedule
All league games are played at Volleybox Sports Centre.
Each team plays one league game per week on a full court with referees. Parents and friends are encouraged to come cheer, and limited seating is available.
Girls games take place on Fridays and Saturdays, times vary.
How to register
Returning players
If you’ve played in the Minor League in any of our previous season you can proceed to register for the upcoming 2026 season by clicking here.
New players
If you’re new to the Minor League but currently enrolled in, or have previously participated in, a Volleybox program with an evaluation level of Yellow or higher, you can register for the 2026 season by clicking here.
Brand new to the Volleybox
If you’re new to Volleybox or don’t yet have an evaluation level, please attend an evaluation tryout before registering. Click here to register.
Playing up
Athletes who’d like to compete in a higher division than their grade level are encouraged to reach out to Volleybox coaches. Our staff will review your evaluation results and let you know if playing up is the right fit or if another evaluation is needed.

Calling All Parents: We Need Your Help!
As you know, finding volunteer coaches is one of the hardest things to do, yet it’s crucial for making our league fun and successful. We need dedicated parents to join us as volunteer coaches for our youth volleyball teams. No prior coaching experience is needed - just a willingness to support and guide our young athletes. Our Volleybox Coaches will provide you with practice plans and all the support you need.
Having enough coaches is the heart and soul of our league. To show our appreciation, we will credit forward your child’s registration fees based on commitment!
