The boys league is new. We are not going to take a full season payment for a division that might not have enough players in it, so here is exactly how this works.

What the season is
A practice every week with his own team and coach, plus league games on Sundays. When you compare seasons, count the practices and the game days.

Tuesday, September 15 is the first practice day across the league, not his team's weekday. His day is set once teams are formed.
The final weekend is tournament style. The boys divisions play Sunday, December 13.
Plan for him to be available all day on that final game day. Exact times come with the schedule.
The season total covers coaching, gym time, practices, and league play. The only other charge is a $75 refundable jersey deposit, collected in the first week of the season.

While the season gets going
League practice is where he learns the game. A weekly class is where his skills grow. Most families do both: Boys All-Skills.

Questions Parents Ask
What am I paying today?
$157.50 ($150 plus GST), and nothing else today.
How does the $414.75 balance get paid?
We email you a payment link for $414.75 ($395 plus GST). Your card is not stored and it is not charged in the background: you open the link and pay when you choose. If the division does not run, no link is sent and your $157.50 is refunded in full with no fee. The balance is paid after the Tuesday, September 8 lock, so once paid it is final, like every spot after that date.
What makes a division run?
24 players. Each division needs 24 to run, which is the number a real league needs to field teams and play a full season. We decide on Tuesday, September 8 and tell you either way.
Can I change my mind?
Your $157.50 deposit is fully refundable until Tuesday, September 8 at 11:59 PM. After that the spot is final. If the division does not run, automatic full refund, no fee.
When are games?
Sundays, at 6:00 or 7:30 PM. 12 game days, first Sunday, September 20 and last Sunday, December 13. The gym is closed October 9 to 12 for Thanksgiving and that weekend is not one of the 12.
What day does he practise?
Once a week, and the day is confirmed once teams are formed. Tuesday, September 15 is the league's first practice day, not his team's weekday.
Is there anything else to pay?
One thing. A $75 jersey deposit in the first week, refunded when the jersey comes back.
Which grade do I use, the one he finished or the one he is starting?
The grade he starts this September.
He has never played on a team. Can he join?
The league needs the basics first. Athletes with a Yellow or higher evaluation register for the season directly. New, unevaluated, and White athletes attend the tryout on Tuesday, September 8 so coaches can see him play. If he is still learning the basics, he starts in All-Skills Fundamentals and joins the league once he is ready.
Does he have to try out to make a team?
If he holds a Yellow or higher evaluation, no. He registers and coaches place him on a team. New, unevaluated, and White athletes attend the tryout on Tuesday, September 8, where coaches decide if he is ready. Athletes still building the basics start in All-Skills Fundamentals and join the league once they are ready. It is $10 plus GST and wraps up by 8:15 PM.
Should he also do a weekly class?
We recommend it. League practice is where he learns the game. A weekly class is where his skills grow. Boys All-Skills runs Mondays, 4:00 to 5:20 PM.
