Role Summary:
As a Full-Time Lead Youth Volleyball Coach, you’ll play a key role in leading our youth programs, combining your coaching skills with a genuine enthusiasm for working with kids. Your ability to connect with young athletes and create a fun, engaging environment is just as important as your technical expertise. We seek a coach who is not only knowledgeable about volleyball but also driven by a passion for mentoring and inspiring athletes of all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead with Enthusiasm: Deliver dynamic and engaging volleyball programs that foster a love for the sport among athletes of varying skill levels.
Create a Positive Environment: Cultivate a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where every athlete feels included and motivated.
Mentor and Develop: Guide and support part-time coaches, setting a positive example and ensuring consistent program quality.
Adapt and Innovate: Be flexible and creative in adjusting drills and sessions to meet the needs of the group.
Uphold Our Mission: Represent Volleybox Sports Centre’s commitment to excellence in youth development, ensuring all programs align with our core values.
Qualifications:
Passion for Youth Development: A genuine interest in helping young athletes reach their potential is essential.
Coaching Experience: Experience in coaching or teaching, with a focus on youth sports, is highly valued.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and maintain the attention of large groups of young athletes.
Adaptability: Comfortable making quick decisions and adjusting program elements on the go.
Relevant Certifications: Coaching certifications and a valid First Aid certification are required.
