Academy Volleyball Club is our high-performance club program, designed to help athletes grow both on and off the court. With practices held at the Volleybox Sports Centre, our dedicated coaches are excited to support your child’s goals while fostering a fun, family-oriented environment. Athletes will not only sharpen their volleyball skills but also build lifelong friendships and valuable life experiences. Tailored for athletes of all ages, the Academy combines skill development with a strong sense of camaraderie.

    About Coach Bill

    We are incredibly excited to introduce Coach Bill Tereposky as the head coach of our Academy 15 team! With over 27 years of coaching and mentoring experience, Coach Bill has been a cornerstone of the volleyball community, shaping the careers of countless athletes at the high school, college, university, and national levels.

    As a former Varsity coach at SDSS and Seaquam Secondary, Bill led his teams to multiple Provincial Finals, including two Provincial Championships. His resume also includes a U14 Div 2 National Gold Medal and a U15 BC Cup Silver Medal, reflecting his commitment to excellence. Bill has coached dozens of Usport and Division 1 players, including athletes who have gone on to represent Canada at the National Team level.

    Bill is a technical specialist whose passion lies in building strong fundamentals during the early stages of an athlete’s development, a crucial factor in long-term success.

    Having Coach Bill at the helm of our Academy 15 team is an exciting opportunity for our athletes. His dedication, expertise, and leadership are sure to inspire and elevate the performance of every player he works with. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him guide this group as they continue their volleyball journey!

    We’re excited to gauge interest for our U18 Academy Volleyball Team!

    At this stage, we’re looking for an expression of interest from athletes in all positions. If we have enough players to form a team, we’ll proceed with a formal tryout.

    The initial tryout is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, from 4:00 - 5:30 PM at the Volleybox Sports Centre.

    There is no cost to register your interest, so if you’re looking for additional club team options please let us know by registering.

Program Update

Cloverdale
Volleyball Club

Providing a New Pathway for Athletes to Reach Their Club Volleyball Goals

This year, Cloverdale Volleyball Club is shifting its focus to support athletes who are still developing their skills and may not be ready for club volleyball tryouts in the fall. Instead of running traditional tryouts in November, we’ll be forming teams in February specifically for athletes participating in the Volleybox Minor League (House League). This pathway is designed for athletes who need more time to grow, offering them an opportunity to join club volleyball later in the season.

By focusing our resources on developing both athletes and coaches through the house league, we’re creating an environment where players can build their skills and confidence before trying out for Cloverdale teams in February. Participation in the Volleybox Minor League (house league) will be a requirement for eligibility to try out for these teams, providing a much-needed alternative for developing athletes looking to participate in club volleyball.
